KPT

KPT (Kinetic particle theory)

From solid to liquid

1.   The solid particles gain Kinetic Energy (start)
2.   Forces of attraction breaks (process)
3.   Particles in a liquid (end)

Particles in a solid are…
1.   Packed
2.   Vibrate in a fixed position
3.   Forces of attraction are very strong

What happens when solids particles turn to liquid.
1.   The particles gain heat
2.   Increased Kinetic Energy
3.   Forces of attraction weakens
4.   The particles vibrate more vigorously.

Particles of a liquid are…
1.   Not packed tightly
2.   Moves around
3.   Forces of attraction are weaker than compared to the ones in a solid

WHATS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN COMPOUNDS AND MOLECULES ASFGHJKL

BLEH HI PEOPLE 8)

My EXO feels are overwhelming *____*
And my myunggyu feels are

Compounds are 2 or more elements. They are chemically bonded.

Mixtures = a very different mix of compounds, maybe atoms also haha. They're not like chemically bonded

HERE'S SOME (SIMPLE) FACTS ABOUT ARGON 8D

Argon is a non-metal! 8D
It is a colourless gas
Its boiling point is -185.7° C and its melting point is -189.2° C
It is a poor conductor of electricity.
It is a poor conductor of heat.
It is brittle.

Elements, Atoms and Molecules~ ^^

ELEMENTS 8D (a/n: are L's fans hahah jkjk )

Elements are pure substances that cannot be broken down or split into 2. :D Chemical symbols are used to represent elements and the symbols consists of 1 or 2 letters~ 8)

Elements can be classified into 2 major groups - metals and non metals. :D But some elements have properties of metals and non-metals. One example is silicon 8D It exists as a solid and appears shiny like a metal, however it is also brittle like a non-metal. ( a/n: T^T WHY IS IT LIKE THIS JUST MAKE UP YOUR MIND ON WHAT YOU WANT TO BE lol)...  Such elements are called metalloids. :>

ATOMS 8D

Atoms are the smallest particles of an element that has the chemical properties of that element. (a/n: lol why you so confusing)
To show one atom of an element, chemists use its chemical symbol. Atoms CAN be split bu the particles will no longer have the properties of the individual element. (a/n : like divorce without alimony? lololololol)

Helium, neon. argon, krypton, xenon and radon are the ONLY ( a/n : yes one and only) elements that exist as individual atoms. <-their atoms are not joined together chemically (a/n ; lol whaaaat? .----.)

MOLECULES (a/n : the furniture shop hahah)
Molecules is a group of two or more atoms that are chemically combined (joined together).
Molecules formed by the combination of 2 atoms are called DIATOMIC molecules and molecules consisting of 3 or more atoms are called TRIATOMIC molecules. And molecules consisting of 4 and more atoms are called POLYATOMIC molecules 8D
